Any questions? Comments? Complaints?

You are obviously very unhappy with the thread to do this, FL. Since I don't read Scott, I don't give a damn, but I think you are going to get a lot of resentment over this exemption of the worst offender.

The way I read this, I can paste a paragraph or two from an article, but not the article. The link reference is unclear. I read this to mean that a link counts the same as a posted article. If that is true, when I paste a paragraph, I won't paste a link.

The smear campaign is great. As we get closer to the war, it is going to get even hotter.

Overall? Other than the smears, I think the thread was fine as it was. This change is a mistake, IMO.

As of today, everyone is limited to two full-text articles per day.

Speaking as an occasional poster but a constant lurker....

Thank you!

I do my best to keep up with the thread but am frequently overwhelmed by the sheer number of articles. A little culling is a great idea....there cant be that many great articles written every day.

There are two exceptions:

1. Your moderator is exempt.
2. stockman_scott is limited to six articles a day (just because).

Why not just limit stockman_scott to two article and leave everyone else alone. Nobody else even remotely comes close to exceeding scott's robo-posting of full text articles. Everyday I consider putting scott of ignore since I know that I will have to skip over through ten or more articles that I already know what they say. The only reason that I don't have him on ignore is that I like to read any replies or posts that he takes the time to write himself. I like to hear scott's own opinions but I can't stand all of the full-page articles that he posts.

GREAT. So if I understand you fully, no one is allowed to more than two human shields per day!

Similar remarks smearing the left are not welcome either.

Can we smear the middle?

OT An idea: every other day posting, 'prowar' post on odd days, 'no war' post on even. My guess is, there'd be 18 to 24 posts from no, followed by 5,277 rebuttals from pro the next day. :)
