"honest stuff we can all agree with"...Don't lose that sense of humor! According to Albert Speer, Hitler's army was relatively weak and ineffective up through 1938 (see previous quote from "Inside the Third Reich"). "Collective security," whether through the League of Nations or the United Nations is worth nothing without compliance, either voluntary or forcefully imposed. South Africa complied voluntarily. Will Iraq do the same? Very shocked and saddened to hear your deceased grandmother has a formidable army and missiles--MK--

Saddam has half the force he had during the Iran- Iraq war- and in that war, WITH the backing of the US, the Saudis, the Kuwaitis and the USSR, he couldn't win. I've read quite a bit about Hitler, and Saddam is no Hitler, and Iraq is no Germany.

As far as the people who want to make it into Germany- when you don't have any good reasons, play "What if...."

What if Saddam gave weapons to someone sometime somewhere
What if Iraq was like Germany
What if Saddam invaded someone sometime again
What if ......
What if your Granny came back to life as a zombie and raised an army of zombies and took over the world?

I think we have good reasons to bomb your granny's grave.
