Where in my post did I assert that 1 John 3:2 proved anything concerning the *TIMING* of the resurrection? I did no such thing nor will I do such a thing. 1 John 3:2 does not prove anything concerning the *TIMING* but it does reveal something concerning the NATURE of the resurrection. Greg - in my past couple of posts to you I was addressing your outright contempt for those who deny a 'physical' resurrection as related to believers. The Nature of the resurrection does not relate to the timing of it. These are two different subjects completely. You also stated: "It's all future Brian ..." Greg - that is an assertion and nothing else. I can say to you It is all past Greg I tried to deal with this with you previously... All that become of it is a 3 year old battle of assertions Yes - NO - yes - no - yes yes yes - no no no... Meaningless assertions that when simplified say nothing other than.. Look you dummy I am right and you are obviously wrong - everyone knows that etc etc etc ... Perhaps I am wrong to hope such things but I honestly hope you can do better. Am I wasting my time? With this I agree: "...it's clearly talking about the resurrection body we will receive when Christ returns" Amen - that was my premise when I brought that particular verse forward. It is most definately addressing the "nature" of the the resurrection. You also asserted this: "To say that you are stretching the meaning of this passage is an understatement" I do not for a moment believe I "stretched" anything. You are the one who tried to "assert" that I used the verse to address the "timing" of the resurrection. I do not believe that 1 John 2:3 says anything about timing Is that clear enough? You also ASSERTED this: On the other hand people who deny the physical resurrection, deny the central element of the Gospel. I'll let you draw your own conclusions about what happens to those who deny the Gospel, but I wouldn't want to be one of them. Where the hell do you get that crap from Greg. Are you trying to resurrect the inquisition? Is it anything like "Crucify Him crucify Him" I do not have a huge problem with the fact that you are very confused logically and scripturally but I do think you tread on very thin ice with such assertions and accusations founded upon nothing other than a "I am right because I'm right" mentality. The people who accused Christ HImself suffered such foolishness. Greg - I accuse you.... I accuse you of not listening. I highly doubt you can tell me what my argument was. I will give you a hint - it concerned your ranting about a "physical" resurrection of all believers. What was the logical form of my argument? Did you even understand what I said?
