I read it before you did this morning, Ace.

Will, cleverly, leaves out one thing though:

He never states what is 'unconstitutional' in a Senate filibuster... not once, anywhere in the article.

He cleverly leaves the bald statement hanging out there... but he never fleshes it out!

That's because he knows their is nothing 'unconstitutional' about it.

He even uses the tricky phrase: "effectively will be amended" (in other words: not really amended in facts... but only in 'effect').

Filibusters have been going on for two centuries... and there is nothing illegal about them in the Senate... in fact, they are codified in the Senate rules.

The majority party can wait the filibuster out... or they can make sure that the press of un-done business is so great that the minority party pays a political price for their actions (which is what they are doing: the Republicans love this filibuster!)

This is as it always was.
