JW...Sounds like we'll get all of that no matter which way it goes..do you think bombing the sh*t out of Iraq will alleviate any of the items on your list...I seriously doubt it. In fact, I think it will intensify the reprecussions...Do you think we will go in and take Iraq and NOT control the oilfields? Can't see it myself. If we go in without incurring civilian loss of life, I think the world will be more sympathetic to the US when/if all the things you listed come true...if we go in with a heavy hand, sympathy will not be there...If we bludgeon Iraq into submission, world thinking might even go as far as to say we deserve what's coming per your list...as far as us occupying Iraq..that is a given IMO...it's just how it gets done that's important right now. Either way, the occupying US troops in Iraq and other bases will be under the gun for some time to come... Don't want to get into a long winded discussion here. You play your hand, and I'll play mine...again, we shall see... Bert
