Lorne,
History will determine whether bush was right to make iraq the issue. But the point is that the world is watching. And terror states like syria, iran and Saudi Arabia(quid pro quo with terrorists)are watching too. So the dye is cast--Saddam will be disarmed or removed.
None of the above states wants to face this so a leash on hizbollah is good policy for them.
And the Pals are watching too. Again, perhaps there was another way, but it is too late now--too much on the line. Hopefully Saddam, who according to Forbes has 2billion dollars in personal wealth, will not want to become a martyr. Mike
