Well, why didn't Bush act like a Commander in Chief on the day of the attacks? Reading to school children while the country is under attack is hardly acting like a Commander in Chief. I don't know if he actually had a hand in the 9/11 attacks; I wouldn't go that far. But, the response by the government while the nation was under attack was appalling and it makes me wondering what the HELL they were thinking?!? Why weren't planes scrambled to defend DC? Why did the head of the Joints Chiefs of Staff continue a meeting during the attacks, instead of doing his job to defend the country? Why weren't people reprimanded for letting the attacks go down like they did? I would think all these questions would concern any American that wants to live in a safe and secure country.
