I agree the rhetoric is not helpful. Don't know why the constant talk and no action for 14 months. Maybe Bush and his team of advisors are more dove-like and measured than I am...

I think your perception about how the world really feels about this is being overly influenced by outspoken minorities.

I think you're seeing reality as Chirac comes under pressure in his own country for threatening the relevance of the UN. Note that his own critics are not pointing fingers at Bush, but at Chirac.

Bush has stayed the course, and the left is quickly running out of venom.
