And, you want security at the same time. Freedom and security in the world today are not compatible. One will suffer at the hands of the other.

Its a similar argument to rights vs. responsibilities. There's all this talk about wanting abortion rights, for instance, but no one wants to talk about responsible behavior.

No freedoms are absolute. We have Courts to draw the lines....if any of the legislation enacted by Congress crosses the lines.....it will be struck down. That's the system of checks and balances the Founding fathers placed inot the Constitution, along with the Bill of Rights....
