NC, The other terror groups dare not go international, pending what we do or do not do in iraq. Those other groups would be able to do israel type terror. So far Al quaida values symbolic targets. Yes they want maximum casualties but collateral to their attack. Take down wtc. Take down pentagon. The hotel attack was against israelis and the one in bali was done by locals so its a bit difference. Al quaida will resort to pal tactics when they are almost defeated. The big projects must have been stopped. 18 months, they must have tried something. mike

I've heard where over 100 attempts have been foiled. Dubya did say a lot of problems were being cured that we weren't hearing about. I'm guessing he meant some wet jobs were happening.

The muslim terrorists may be a blood thirsty cruel vicious bunch of scum but I don't think they are completely stupid. I think they may be well aware of what would be in store for all moslems here in the west if another atrocity like Sept.11 should be committed by them. The Prez has said over and over just how peaceful islam is and with good reason...Could you imagine the hostility towards muslims over here if the Prez had come out and told the world that Sept.11 was a declaration of war by the religion of islam. And that IMO is exactly what it was. If islam should commit another atrocity in the USA all the work and the billions of dollars that was spent by saudi arabia getting their brand of islam set up over here could all be lost.
