I have seen no evidence that that's the case. The differences are philosophical and run very deep France is doing what they are doing for a few reasons. First, their pocketbook. Iraq owes them a lot of $$. Second, Chirac is buddies with Hussein. They go way back. Third, they want to put a stick in our eye on general principle. None of these things changes what is the correct course of action. I don't buy for a second that they honestly believe Hussein is cooperating or doesn't have WMD. Brian
