The writer must equate our action against SadDam as the equivalent of the actions of SadDam against his own people( and most everyone he'd like to come in brutal contact with, as he can).

The will of terrorists(those who live), may certainly be heightened by the second gulf war, but their potential means thankfully, will be diminished greatly. The future can be in the hands of better leaders who's presence will NOT paint so striking a picture of an abyss as the author well notes does exist today with the people.

I think that COULD be the initial reaction HOWEVER if its quick, if the Iraqui people side with US and fervor of antiAmericanism MIGHT change to jealousy of the Iraquis for their good fortune. jdn
