I heard General Shinseki is due to retire next year and they want him to go now

Rumsfeld is so in love with him that he appointed his successor a year early, in hopes that he would get the message. Another Four Star that should never have made it past Colonel.

This adds to my dismay over this Administrations incompetence. Can you imagine this being tolerated in any other Administration? These guys couldn't run a Pizza Parlor.

Hey Rascal, please cite me one example of any administration correctly estimating the cost of a war to within + or - 100% of the final cost. Pick your time, pick your administration.

You know what they say about no plan surviving first contact with the enemy? Goes for cost estimates too.

Let's stick to be disappointed at failures of possible actions. Nobody in the administration can flap their arms and fly either.
