Why should Warren Zevon get into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame?

Because of the timeless beauty of his singing on Hindu Love Gods?<G>

He kicks arse, dood...he's been covered by more artists except the Beatles and Dylan! His first 3 albums were all timeless classics, certainly Warren Zevon and Excitable Boy are among the best rock LP's of the 70's.

Yeah, it's personal preference and all that, but his stuff stood up well over time, IMO....besides, Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner was the thread anthem of All Clowns Must Be Destroyed!<G>

Nice piece...certainly there is an annoying anti-Punk bias in the Hall...at least the Ramones got in eventually, and the Clash. Glam was, well, a fad unfortunately, and the bias there is a bit more understandable, IMO. (I'd vote for the New York Dolls, but other than Bowie, who else is really deserving?)
