What I believe to be true is that as this war has become less justifiable, the conservatives on the thread find the discussion less rewarding.

As one of the conservatives on this thread: The war is more justifiable than ever. Even today, knowing that war is just around the corner, Saddam is playing the UN like a grand piano. They look like damned fools. The war will start any day, it is certainly a worthwhile undertaking, and is a result of true leadership in the White House.

The war has grown less justifiable with each passing day. The costs to us in terms of loss of personnel, finances, global prestige, and division within our alliances are too great, and the war should have been jettisoned long ago. Bush has made a major tactical error and failed to effectively promote his position. He and you look like buffoons.

You will mostly like get your war because Mr. Bush has the false hubris to proceed. However, you and he are not patriots but rather Mr. Bush is a cross between a demagogue and an ideologue, and you are simply one of his willing minions. If you had a true brain, you would know that by now. Unfortunately, your brain is like a badly programmed hard drive with a fatalistic flaw. All of us will get hurt by this fiasco but you most of all. Mr. Bush has set this country back by at least 50 years. I am saddened contemplating our future prospects.
