I'm well aware that France sold Iraq two nuclear reactors. In response to me talking about that, someone started the - but we did the same with Israel line. In fact, we didn't. France, not the US, worked with Israel for it to acquire its nuclear capacity even before it did the same with Iraq.

The French were an ally of Israel back in the '50's and early '60's but switched sides.

Of course, anyone who thinks of France as an ally is engaging in wishful thinking. A very unreliable and irresponsible nation as we're seeing now. And as we've seen before.
