The think here would be Syrian and Iranian leaders thinking: "Hey, this Bush is dangerous and he's gonna invade us next. Perhaps we should consolidate and try and defeat them so they'll go home and stay out of the Middle East. There is a precedent for this when Reagan withdrew the soldiers after the Marine Barracks explosion in Lebanan.
