One thing makes sense about the thesis of that article -- for the most part it is politics -- but one thing makes sense. Nobody is gonna ring a bell when we reach the peak. Wars will start before anyone knows that the peak has been reached -- I don't know if we are there and I don't know how to find out either -- I guess if we take over Iraq and bring more oil into production while the world economy stagnates and crude still goes up in price we'll know.
