It's the argument that protests are only "right" if they follow those policy suggestions that's unacceptable.

Not something I have ever said. However, I think you mean 'incorrect' not 'unaccetable' or are people simple not allowed to be incorrect about protestors?


I was referring to Walzer in that comment. As for whether I meant to say "incorrect" rather than "unacceptable", I deliberately did that. To say "incorrect" is to stay in Walzer's logic. I admit it's a bit of a nitpick. But I wished to say I found it unacceptable, not that it was, in some larger sense, incorrect.
