Greg - you said...

re>"You can't have it both ways Brian either the resurrection was physical or it was not"<
You are right Greg - and never have I or anyone I have ever
heard tried to maintain that Christ's resurrection
was anything other than 'physical'

*BUT* that does not mean that anyone else's MUST be physical nor does it prove such.

1 John 3:2 is a plain proof that JOHN did not
teach that the resurrected body of Christ and that of all
believers would be the same.
Otherwise he could not have said "it has not yet been revealed what we will be like"

1 John 3:2 = NOT THE SAME
because it was yet unknown to THEM not US

That was the point I was attempting to make.

You are so sure that because you can prove Christ's resurrection was physical that you have won the case.

My question is how?

I want to know how you logically prove that the resurrection
of the common believers MUST also be physical.

If you can't prove it how can you accuse any who do not
agree as damnable heretics who attack the 'essence' of the Gospel?

Greg - I accused you in my last post of not listening and
asked you to prove you were by repeating what I said to me.

You did not!

You simple attempted again to prove that the resurrection of Christ
was physical A FACT that no one is denying!!!!!

re>"If you want to deny the Gospel claim to the physical resurrection of Christ's body that is your choice"<

You cannot prove anything about believers unless you can
PROVE that our resurrection MUST be the same and that Christ returned ( returns ) in that same body.

Something that 1 John 3:2 screams against when it says:
"it has not yet been reveal what we will be like"

Christ's resurrected body had been REVEALED - ours had not.
