If we had known earlier what the Germans were doing, I think it might have strengthened America's resolve. Dachau opened in '33. If we had better understood Hitler, I'd like to think we would have intervened before Pearl Harbor. With both invasions of other countries, and genocide, I'd say we had a good reason to intervene before our own shores were attacked. If we had intervened earlier, millions of lives would have been saved. I am all for intervening when countries are actually being invaded.
