You are proposing elimination of the separate branches of the US government.

Have you ever heard of the US Constitution ??????

Do you want it destroyed?

Sounds like you do.

I think Congress, due to pressure from the people, should rescind funding for the executive branch of government, in effect, making Bush powerless to govern. Unable to govern Bush would need congressional approval to fund any act. Lame Duck him until the next elections when he can be replaced.

Congress already voted its approval of war with Iraq. It passed the House 296-133 and the Senate 77-23. Since I guess I have to state the obvious to you people, that means there was bipartisan support for the approval. 29 Democratic senators voted yes, including Tom Daschle. Do you pay any attention to what is going on in the world?

Pardon moi? I seem to remember a Republican Congress that did that to Clinton. And every leftie in the land was screaming bloody murder about how irresponsible and damaging to the country that was.

So what's the difference, precisely?

Precisely that now the President is a Republican and not a Democrat?

So all the blather about not sacrificing the country on the altar of partisan politics was just that- -blather?
