I don't think so, but I'm not a tech guru, either, Larry. I know when I got this version of OE, it would not open any attachment at all and was set their by default until I unchecked the box. I think it's more a safety measure to keep you from getting a virus by simply keeping you from opening an attachment that could unleash one. Personally, everyone gets attachments in a certain % of their emails and most open them, especially if they trust the sender, so I don't even know why that option exists in OE. Jerry
