I don't care about this. Unless the republicans lighten up on this pro-choice issue they will lose again in California. Bush and the WH are spending time here trying to figure out how to fix the mess. The republicans will have a tough time in 04 without any of the moderate states, these social issues are just another nail in the coffin. Why the republicans got sidestepped on political/fiscal issues with these sinkhole social issues (which are divisive and never, never, never result in anybody's mind being changed) is beyond me. The prospect of democrats in the WH with the huge deficits Bush is going to leave is quite scary.
