What do you think of Russia, France and Germany teaming up with other smaller nations and the possibility that the dollar will get kicked by the Euro? Could the realization of this be somewhat behind their moves to so easily oppose what the US wants in the UN?

the problem in the Carter years was US productivity, it was the lowest in the western world for a while there. We might have economic problems going forward but certainly not for the same reasons.
