I am not positive on the economy in 2003, I think the oil prices virtually guarantee a double dip at this point, also at least in California real estate is going down.

Stocks are another matter though, my feeling is if we don't get the "large decline" that is widely predicted by May, then the nas at least stays flat for a year. There's only so much damage you can do to a market like the nas. The internet stocks hit 52-week highs on friday so they will likely come down if a widespread recession hits but even that is suspect in my eyes. Well we will see.
