Craig: I posted for a long time about the Israeli settlements -- the blatantly illegal settlements that have frustrated any attempt at peace. I posted about the impact of Palestinian issues on the world agenda. I have been very concerned about this in the years before 9/11. I stopped posting on these issues because of 9/11. There is no excuse for 9/11 and I want to offer none. Where I disagree with you is in your pathological hatred of all things Jewish. I love and admire Jewish people. For me the issue is policy, and on that score I have substantial problems with Israel. Israeli policy for years has been similar in character to current US policy. The similarity is not lost on me. And if nothing else, I have made it abundantly clear that US policy has taken a dangerous turn while gaining nothing. Where I agree with you is that the US is acting in concert with Israel and has not owned up to the real motivations behind our policy vis a vis Iraq. Oil is part of it -- make no mistake. But so is Israel, and this is the elephant in the room that the WH would have us ignore.
