That's because all the hippies are at demonstrations. :-)
Now maybe they'll get back to shopping.

Silicon Valley has been through bad times before. This is hardly the first. I can remember a time in the '70s when it wasn't clear INTC would make it. In the '80s, Japan was going to bury us. The mid and late '90s were the only long party the Valley has had.

If all else fails, we can dig up the pavement and concrete and go back to growing cherries. :-)

What will get us out of this? Who knows? If the worst that gloom-and-doomers predict comes true, we don't get out. Buy gold and rifles, bury the gold and keep the rifles loaded.
