Jay, Ernesto Bertarelli today won the America's Cup with people from 14 nations with Kiwis leading the team. He's carting it back to Switzerland, a citadel of the United Nations. A fitting home.

All part of the symbolism of life on earth in the human realm. All good fun! The USA, with Larry Ellison and Oracle a leading contender missed out again. Larry Ellison has already challenged Ernesto. Oracle, Alinghi and Team NZ were all led by Kiwi skippers [Chris Dickson, Russell Coutts and Dean Barker].

Ernesto is, right now, grinning like a Cheshire Cat with the cream, carting around the America's Cup. Rightly so. He has, as they say, got it all. He's a young guy.

PS: Peter Blake [previous leader of Team NZ] couldn't be there - some Brazilian pirates murdered him on the Amazon. I don't think Brazil will be leading the world any time soon.
