I doubt that's the final word but if it is, the stupidity is on the part of the Turks. They will have pissed away tens of billions of dollars in aid and any voice in what happens in post Saddam Iraq.

I'm sure the Kurds are celebrating.

Just kidding, but I hated when he kept saying the UN was irrelevant just because they weren't his rubber stamp. That only plays in places like Utah, Alabama and Texas. Everywhere else it's called BS.

Not really a blow to Bush. Turkey has only confirmed what most of us have already known, that it is just another two-bit muslim state. Even without Turkey, the U.S. will prevail.
