Go ahead, reprint what I wrote. I stand by my remarks that Hitler's pre-war speeches, when he was rallying the support of his people behind him, when he was saying how great Germany would be, and much more, when Hitler gave those speeches he hadn't committed any crimes. That came afterward. And brutal crimes they were.

The point I'm making is that Bush's speeches are a similar ring, thick on flag and patriotism, thick on distortion of fact, but little on substance and truth.

I bet similarities could be found in the rally for support type speechs of the two of them.

I'm not equating Bush with Hitler. Hitler killed millions of people. I will submit, however, that there is a danger that Bush's policies could produce hundreds of thousands of deaths, if not a million or more. This is not an acceptable policy for me, nor should it be for you.
