In fact most of the homeless problem falls on alcholics, drug addicts and the mentally ill.

Do you have the statistics on this?

Or are doing your own personal poll of squeegie people and
traffic light newspaper salesmen before you drop a quarter
in their cup?

Any reporting involving Gays is totally distorted. Just a few that come to mind. Pedophile priests are not homosexual-they just have a proclivity to sodomize young boys and not (usually) young girls. Are they idiots? or do they think we are idiots?

Another myth the overwhelming number of gays are in long term committed relationships and raising children. Haven't they read "And the Bank Played On". Oh by the way the press never stops pushing the horrors of smoking and junk food and almost any unhealthy behavior. But of course we never hear about the diseases (not just aids) that are epidemic in the gay community.

The only thing that prevents the above from being labeled as
"Stupid" would be the statistics that you forgot to
provide. Surely you can post a link.

4. This weekend there are nationwide rallies scheduled to support the president's position on the war. Has your newspaper reported it?

Two of the five people couldn't make it because of the
weather. So Shrub, Dick, and Rummy took their masks off
and went home. The press will fail to report that the
"rain-date" for the big rally will be held in a week or so.
They are hoping it does not coincide with any NASCAR events
otherwise they will just have to have it at the track.

6. How is it that Dan Rather had an exclusive interview with Saddam and didn't ask him one tough question.

Finally something we can agree on.

It took a while.

Perhaps this had more to do with lousy reporting and poor
interviewing skills rather than political agenda.

With SI being a website originally started with
Investment/Trading opinions in mind, there sure seems to be
more threads talking politics.

So many good threads degrade as soon as politics are
introduced.

I guess a lot of people just need to vent.

None of the top threads listed on the SI home page are
about investment anymore. There are so many dedicated to
politics. Not sure why this disease keeps creeping up on
these trading threads.

Pretty soon this place will be renamed Stictly Drilling Iraq.
