>>I've never read a story about Indian proxy attacks on Pakistan....<<

Maybe because Hindus don't go to heaven for killing people.

I was just thinking about Mohammed, the real human being, this morning, wondering what made him so different from Jesus. Different time, different place, different culture, I know.

I just don't get any sense that Mohammed was a very educated person. Jesus wasn't either, maybe Christianity benefits from closer proximity to the Greeks and the Romans because so much of Christianity is a gloss put on by them. But Christ doesn't appear to have ever said anything actually dumb, whereas Mohammed came out with a few. Just saying that will get me a fatwa many places on earth, I know. Not conducive to critical thinking.

(Exorcising the devils into the Gadarene swine doesn't appear to have been one of Jesus's smarter moves, as they promptly ran over a cliff, causing the people of Gadarea to ask him to leave. I don't recall ever reading or hearing any commentary on that.)
