Pity. The competitive value of GSM now extends much further out than it should. Hutchison had the potential to break Europe open for CDMA. Li Ka-shing responded to the promise of 3G technology, chose early but poorly. The "GSM Way of Life" goes on ubiquitous and unabashed.
