That's the sickest and ugliest part of that WWII. They even got help from the local police (law enforcement) departments in every invaded country (in this case Poland) to carry out the heinous genocide program. It would have been much more difficult or nearly impossible if support (help) from local officials was not available. We tend to give too much credit to Saddam's biochemical and nuclear weapons and what he had done with those weapons in the past. We tend to forget and ignore what we have, our capability, and how we have used them before.
