Doctor I went to school in computer science back when the Ayatollah took over. My teachers were Iranian and a large majority of the students there (probably same area you live in) were from Iran. They were great guys and terrified of the changes going on in Iran. Many of them feared for the lives of their parents and relatives.

If you happened to catch a Fox interview on Friday with Greta Van Susteren she had two Arab-Americans debating the issue of the Arab response to terrorism. One of them was a member of the BUT group and the other was an American. The one fellow was awesome and he stated flatly I am an American first and foremost. I love this country. The BUT spokesperson was one of those big mouth Arab groups that always say this is wrong BUT BUT BUT BUT. The true American condemned the other's position as being of great harm to both Arabs and this country.
I believe that the American loving guy is typical of the average Arab in this country (Persians also). Unfortunately the BUT people get the press and it leaves
one thinking that they are linked to the terrorists in Jihad support. Gretta also sided with the American.

I don't see them flocking to the boats to get out of here.

I have no doubt, Herr Doktor, that you live your life with your eyes closed.
