res-I'm willing to cede the point that should they get to a democratic, secular government in Iraq in our lifetime, they deserve credit for it. I just think that's such an unlikely occurrence that it can't be factored into the pluses and minuses of the invasion.

My wager is within *one year* from this date, there will be ample evidence Iraq has what it takes to create democratic governance.

Will that mean the Green Party will lose a vote John? :)
