I agree! Now I think that outlawing the pledge is going to far to the other side but its examples like the one you mentioned that have people in battle mode.

Agreed. Parents often use their kids as tools, though. There was that atheistic dad who claimed his daughter was an atheist in order to file a suit to get "under God" out of the Pledge.
I'd give the religious types that much just to keep the peace.
