Not a bad idea. I've thought about laddering CDs. BTW, I think the double dip is possible if the war doesn't go well and we start getting terrorist attacks on our soil, like Israel gets hit by terrorists almost every week. It's interesting how Israel can deal with that crap for 50 years and still keep their spirits high. They are incredibly resilient.

Anyway, I'm just thinking about contingencies. It's always good to have an action plan if things go bad.
