BY the way, my friends who are from Palestine give money to their relatives in Palestine so that no one in their families will be tempted to be a suicide bomber. Maybe all of us in the US should send money to them and that would block Saddam's efforts. It would be cheaper than the war and we wouldn't lose any lives on either side.

Up yours Patricia. Americans have been sending money to the Palestinian people for years, and much of it has ended up in the personal bank accounts of the thugs who lead them.

As an American taxpayer I say no more until these people adopt American style democracy. Maybe your hero the peanut farmer can arrange it?

Israel: Arafat's personal wealth is $ 3.1 billion
Palestine-Israel, Politics, 8/16/2002

Israeli parliamentary sources on Wednesday quoted the chairman of the Israeli military intelligence Gen. Aharon Zeafi saying that the Palestinian President Yasser Arafat owns a fortune estimated at $ 3.1 billion.

Zeafi who submitted a report to the defense and foreign affairs committee in the Israeli Knesset said that Arafat's economic advisor Muhammad Rasheed "has almost organized the calculations of the Palestinian authority," but he could not succeed in halting "the imports monopolies in ( the Palestinian territories) which constitutes the source of Arafat's personal revenues."

What an insipidly naive statement.

I understand your assertion, but you have no point. Saddam, if left alone would feed anyone who would attack the west, especially the US.

You don't get the point.

The world economy is dependent on oil.

Saddam sits astride the first and second largest known oil reserves.

His desire to obtain WMD and the brutal nature of his regime therefore makes him a threat to the entire world, including the US.

Even a boob like you should be able to grasp that one....
