I agree with you there....Yet, Bush's War mongering has helped drive oil prices UP in an unnecessary way...Additionally, we have an Administration that is not committed to aggressively funding R&D for alternative sources of energy...And on top of that we don't see Bush & Co. push the automakers and others to improve fuel efficiency...Is that responsible...??

If Bush takes us into a war in Iraq a number of top economists feel the fragile U.S. economy will be pushed back into a recession...Consumers and businesses will curtail spending even more AND we'll be dealing with an even higher energy tax....Does this makes sense...?? I guess Bush doesn't want peace or a 2nd term in office.
