the economy?? thats great.. Productivity gains continue to spur economic growth as evident by the last GDP figures which were better than economists expected (never mind that GDP were jammed by defense as defense spending can hold up the economy indefinitely). Housing continues to lead the way as purchases of consumer durables kicked butt last month. No signs of a bubble as some bears argue (nevermind that the multifamily property I purchased just 5 years ago is ow worth more than double what i paid for it, nope, no bubble here). Also continuing efforts by Greenprint to add liquidity to the economy (by printing greenbacks like its going out of style) are helping companies lower the cost of their debt burden (nevermind that even though the money supply had practically gone vertical since 2000, borrowing at the corporate level has headed the other direction)..

so in summary, everything is Aok, buy calls, sell gold.<gg>
