Yup...I saw it...

Yet, I've talked with many friends in India and in Europe and its amazing how there is very little support for this 'pre-emptive strike' on Iraq...Bush and Blair HAVE NOT made a strong case for war...Our sanctions against Iraq have devastated the innocent people of the country...IMO, Iraq is NOT a threat to the U.S....Countries like North Korea and Pakistan have nuclear capability and actively proliferate weapons...IMO, we will send the wrong message to rogue states by attacking Iraq.

Here's an interesting link to a discussion that was published in the main newspaper in Austin, Texas...

At Issue: America's role in the world

The limits of power

btw, I think a war would have a detrimental impact on our fragile economy and our deficit...Too many lives would be lost too...There is a better way to deal with Iraq and help that country...Bush's 'Shock and Awe' plan to drop hundreds of SMART BOMBS in the first few days of a war does not impress me at all...too many will suffer...The United States' credibility will suffer big time...IMO, a whole new wave of terrorism could be spawned...Why spend well over $100 Billion tax dollars on an elective war when you don't have to...??
