Wouldn't you say that it is a far cry: Between knowing someone has chemical weapons, and supplying someone with (actual) chemical weapons?

re:"Here's one link that doesn't specifically say we supplied them but we sure as hell knew about the use gas before it was used"

There is no secret of the numbers of people that are dead because of Saddam. Because of sanctions alone (not including two wars of aggression against neighbors, a general reign of terror, the killing of Kurds and Southern Shia), Iraq claims that over a million and a half people (mostly children) have died as a result of sanctions. These numbers are in some dispute, but there have been numbers published in the west, varying from 300,000 to 500,000 excess deaths of Iraqi children (Lancet and Richard Garfield of Columbia University) alone! Most of these deaths (that were a result of sanctions) occurred during the Clinton Administration. Now, I don't place any blame on the Clinton Administration for the deaths of these children, I believe that these deaths were a result, of deliberate choices made by the Iraqi Government, the FAULT of their DICTATOR - SADDAM. The man you would prefer, be kept in his box.
