I have looked at the management team and there is only one fellow left from FN and he does not have a decision making position. Also IMO when they got in the bidding war with AU for the Australian assets ego's got in the way of over paying for the assets. AU at the time when they were bidding for the property was using a currency that was in the toilet - Rand was trading at it's low and NEM was buying when the US dollar was at its high.

Maybe I am missing something. IMO, NEM gets bid up because the fools here in the States do not know there are any other gold mining companies. <g>
