Even Clergymen disagree on many parts of the bible because its contents are so subjective at times. Furthermore, by no means do I feel the church has some moral authority. I don't think God approves of any war but I have seen this topic debated by different Clergymen. Its just too subjective IMO

Another thing I might add is this. If I could find a list of Church groups that supported the War (and I could because they're out there) would you really feel their opinion was relevant? Would that convince you that combat was the way to go? I'm pretty sure it wouldn't and in fairness it wouldn't change my take either. Thats why I question the relevancy
