I slept late that day, too. I woke up from the strangest dream: I was watching the news on television (I never watch television). The big story was that Jimmy Stewart had just died. They were showing clips from his old movies: "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" and "It's a Wonderful Life". I felt unbearably sad at his passing, and the newscasters were atypically quiet and subdued.

I got up, shaking my head, wondering why I would dream such a thing. I took a shower, and couldn't get the strangeness of this dream out of my mind. Finally I sat down at my pc and logged on to Yahoo, and saw these strange pictures, of buildings in flames. It was so bizarre, at first I thought it was one of those "pornolizer" programs that goes in and replaces all your normal site banners and text with obscenities.
