Oddly, I lose my appetite when I quit smoking. I think it is a form of depression, something that has been well documented among quitters. Unfortunately, this does not translate into no weight gain. Smokers metabolize their caloric intake differently.

I agree with you on the taxes. It's an outrage, it is. When we all quit smoking, as we are being told to do, where does the government think it will get its revenue? Those self-righteous nonsmokers better look around, as they are the next likely fountain of funds.
