Not so sure. If Turkey is not involved, it will be bad for the US (higher costs of invasion from only one point) and bad for Turkey (bye-bye USD 30 bn).

I don't know what Turkey is playing at this point. The news and comments are very cryptic, even for Turkish standards. It is actually pretty hilarious, the way news commentators are trying to make sense out of this situation. If I had nothing else to do, popcorn in front of a Turkish channel would be a lot of fun.
