As an American, you should maybe think of what is best for your own country and your own people.

Yes. The viewpoint of Turkey and the US is different. They see the Kurds as the biggest danger. Bigger than Saddam for them. So I don't know if we could trust them not to do something like massacre Iraqi Kurds or something. Both Turkey and the Kurds are allies of us. And for Iraq, I think the Kurds are the more important now.
